Another common myth is that old people are so antiquated that they are blissfully unaware of what is happening in the real world. My grandmom scours the newspaper from cover to cover and can tell you the details of what sale is going on where, who was killed where and what not! Not to mention that she reads a host of magazines and is quite aware of the latest trends, real estate boom, when gold prices will fall and ever so much more! She even has a remedy for all the problems that face mankind today, and most of them are quite shrewd and logical observations. I really wish I grow to be an old woman like her. She just PROVES that age is all in the mind. Also, I have realized that old people are not THAT old...I mean remember when you were eighteen, you thought 30 was old? But when you are 30, you realise that you are not so old...cos there are still things to learn and things to know. You are just as old as you WANT to be, I think.
