I feel Mani Ratnam is highly over rated_ most often the credits are given for the excellent cinematography and dialogues rather than the story. He has however not brought out any true creativity as his stories relate only to true incidents or people and more over he is a victim of the song and dance trend which takes away the realistic factor from his movies. Without A.R.Rahman he can truly be lost.
