Maybe you don’t know this, but just like you are fond of your mobile phone, the radiations emitted by your phone are fond of you. Research shows that radiations are attracted to the human brain and can cause havoc if not taken seriously. (Source: Journal Epidemiology). For instance, in the worst case, you could go deaf, or lose portions of your memory. (Source: Deafness Research UK).
Some startling facts
 
Science has proved that your mobile acts like a microwave transmitter bearing a cancer warning! Energy at millions to billions of cycles per second can do you more harm than good – it has been reported that these frequencies cause cancer and several other diseases by intercepting in your body the nodes with cellular DNA and its repair mechanisms. This in turn promotes cell aging. 
Professor Dr. Henry Lai of the University of Washington has done extensive research on this topic. He believes that “brain cells are severely damaged by microwave levels far below the U.S. Government’s safety guidelines.”
There are several studies (including several in The Journal of Cellular Biochemistry) that prove the following damage to the body:
  • Corroding the nerves in the scalp.
  • Loss of hemoglobin.
  • Memory confusion and memory lapses.
  • Headaches and whizzing sounds in the ear.
  • Spasms in various muscles.
What’s the alternative?
 
Bluetooth and hands-free are two options. According to a report in Business Week, Bluetooth radiation doesn’t seem to be harmful.  But the best thing to do is plan before you make the call, so that you don’t waste time. Also, refrain from keeping the phone in your shirt pocket.
